Satisfied

I am.
Quirky
The world stares back at me without the eyes of deceit that pierce my soul
without the stuttering, muttering confused essence of a mis-truth half apologetic
undisturbed misleading verb
i watch the water slide from the tables tops
my head tilted
I wonder.
I stand upon these stilts of legs as my wide eyes smile
amused by the mystery that lies within the swaying of the trees
the story they told
a secret that the fools don't understand
the wind whips my hair into a style"vogue" worthy as the humidity undresses the disguise upon my face
limp from the extravagant conversation of the bees
I lay.
as the asphalt gives me the massage of a lifetime
the last tear drops from the clouds eyes
and the sun smiles
I am
who I am
and never was that girl that you thought you knew
